Excited to join Margaret and her team at Bear’s Books in Macon, Georgia on Wednesday, August 20 at 5:30 PM. At 6:00, I’ll read a section from Back to Blue Holly and then sign books afterwards. Can’t wait to catch up with some “old” Macon friends and meet a bunch of new. If you are in the Macon area, please join me!
Lexington Bookclub (Private)
This bookclub picks their books at the start of the year and then meet on the first Thursday of every month, religiously. I envy their dedication to reading and each other, and I can’t wait to meet them in person to get their thoughts on Back to Blue Holly.

I’m so excited to be in conversation with author Kelly Hill on Tuesday, June 3 at 7:00 PM at Carmichael’s Bookstore’s Crescent Hill location, 2720 Frankfort Avenue in Louisville.
KELLY E. HILL has a PhD from the University of Louisville and an MFA in fiction from Spalding University. She lives in Louisville with her family. And like me, she is a debut author. A Home for Friendless Women is her first novel.
Palmetto Bluff April Artist in Residence (Kelly Brewer)
Super excited to attend the Artist in Residence week at Palmetto Bluff with Kelly Brewer, my partner on The Common Wealth of Kentucky Project and the upcoming Kindred Spirits Project that we are launching soon. Kelly is an amazing artist and teacher, so helping her with her workshops is always a treat for me. HERE are the workshop offerings if any of y’all are in the low country at the end of April.
